Hello everyone! Hope 2017 has been good to you all so far. Our preparations are well underway for this year’s festival, which will take place on June 3rd, at Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield.
In preparation for one of the greatest things to happen in Manchester this summer (we may be a little biased!), we will be hosting a fundraiser at the Old Abbey Taphouse on April 1st from 8pm following on from the Energise Festival at Hulme Community Garden Centre. So come on down for vegan cakes and party vibes as we start April with a bang!
Here’s the link so you can find us on Facebook and be social and all of those lovely things: https://www.facebook.com/events/1268152016606264/
See you soon!
We still need more volunteers to help bring the magic together on Saturday 4th June. If you would like to help support Manchester’s environmental festival please get in touch.
We are looking for people who are full of energy and enthusiasm to come help set up, oversee the activities and help take down at the end of the day. You can volunteer for a few hours or the whole day.
Refreshments will be provided and you will be working in a very friendly and experience event team.
Please get in touch asap if you are intereested. No previous experience is necessary.

We need 100 people to join us to coordinate a tweet and post that will all go out together to make the biggest noise and let everyone know about the amazing event with have planned on 4th June.
Please click here to be part.
This is my favourite picture of Envirolution. Not because of any fancy shot or clever use of light but because it shows loads of people enjoying themselves in the park, engaging with all the wonderful activity. The reason we created Envirolution in the first place.
If you have any forgotten pictures from Envirolution please post them to us or tag us in them.
The Envirolution festival is back and is going to better than ever!
The 2016 Envirolution looks like its going to be our last festival ever, so we hope you will join us to make it extra special.
As ever its going to have some top quality bands playing over the two stages, loads of workshops where you can learn new stuff, amazing food from all around Manchester, games and activities in our fairtrade ground, loads of new stuff and many ideas and ways that you can use to change the world!
And of course, its all for FREE!

In 27 days Platt Fields Park in South Manchester will be transformed into fun filled family friendly melting pot full of ideas, workshops, artwork, games and music that will inspire and intrigue everyone who comes along about all things sustainable in Manchester!
We are very proud to have two stages full of incredible music from the very best in upcoming and local talent this year,
Manchesters very own furry friendly genius
MARC CONSTANTINE who will sooth and mesmerise all with his beautiful sounds. As always look out for Marc round the festivals this year, he’s usually the really nice guy youve been sat round the fire chatting to for the last three hours.
We also welcome ZOO,
an 18 year old Manchester based musician who’s starting to make some waves. In 2014 she released her EP ‘The Chaos’ and has had her tracks played on BBC Introducing, BBC Sussex, to Chris Evan’s and at music festivals such as Bognor Rox, Camp Bestival and Festival at the Pheasantry.
We are very very happy to bring back Welsh legends
THE WOBBLY HEARTS. Now experienced veterans of the Welsh music scene they now have a new album: Damned Sucker’s Luck making its way around the houses, its an honour to have these fine folks tickle our ears with their finery
We also are very excited to have GALIVANTES
Described as ‘political horsemash gypsy skank reggae with horns’ these firey festival performers from all kinds of crazy town will have us bouncing around the Envirolution main stage dome like a bag of nitro frogs!
This years Envirolution is NOT TO BE MISSED!
Come and join us for could be the last time ever on Saturday the 4th of June, 1-7pm on Platt Fields Park, South Manchester.
The solutions are there,
we just have to get together and take them.
Spread the word, tell all your friends
Come and be part of the Envirolution revolution!
Nothing is going to stop this year’s festival… not even a lack of money.
We have always operated at Envirolution under the basis of making things happen first and worrying about the money later. With this we are happy to announce that even after an unsuccessful crowdfunding campaign this year’s event is still going ahead. Continue reading Money, Smuney! 28 days to go…
