Envirolution 2012

A free festival in Platt Fields Park on July 21st a selection of marquees will host a range of activities and entertainment promoting and inspiring sustainable living. See the video of our 2011 event.

Live music from great local talent alongside spoken word and comedy will keep you entertained with a chance to enjoy sustainable low carbon tasty food. Interactive workshops will encourage practical engagement with sustainable issues whilst a Conversation Café will give you a chance to share your ideas and chat to some successful names in the environmental revolution.

After the success of two events, the movement has snowballed into 2012 with both continued and new support, as Manchester leads a globally prominent revolution. A great day out for everyone, those with an interest or those developing an interest in sustainable living will find something to get stuck into with our hands on approach.

Envirolution’s mission is to create a welcoming and open space for people to present their solutions and achievements. We want your hands and minds involved with every aspect and strive to provide an interactive and engaging experience for every visitor.

It is vital to us that we walk the talk, hosting in the great outdoors of Platt Fields Park and running the whole event with a cycle powered PA system, a zero litter policy and with organic locally sourced food.

You can be part of this years event by telling us about any projects or ideas that you think should be included. Please post on the Envirolution Facebok page or Tweet them to @envirolutionuk
